The Miami Dolphins are coming off their best win of the season against the Dallas Cowboys. While many are high on the Dolphins as a team, one analyst shared his views that the Dolphins still don’t deserve respect as a title contender. Tyreek Hill absolutely did not like what the analyst had to say voicing his options on X, he slammed the analyst.
That Analyst is none other than Colin Cowherd who voiced his take that the Dolphins are not a scary team just yet and they need to prove it for him to believe it. Cowherd does not think that the win was worthy enough to now give the Dolphins respect as he says:
“It’s not my job to give you respect, it’s my job to be honest”
Colin Points to the fact that this is the first time they have beaten a team this season that had a winning record, and while he did give them credit as a very good team this year, they still have not done anything in 23 years. He says that while they are a very nice team and have players everywhere, they should win a playoff game but not go further.
Miami Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill Claps Back At Colin Cowherd
Following Cowherd’s comments Tyreek Hill took to X, formally known as Twitter, to call him out for not giving respect where Hill feels it’s due. Tyreek has been having an almost historic year and one of the best years any receiver has had in history. They sit behind the Baltimore Ravens for the #1 seed in the AFC, and they happen to be playing them this week in what should be the deciding game for the top seed.
While Miami has been playing amazing ball and does have a special offense and physical talented defense, Cowherd’s points are still valid. The NFL is what have you done for me lately league and Miami hasn’t played a second round playoff game in quite some time, so Colin is right in saying let’s see if Miami can win some playoff games before giving them huge respect.
What sport has this thug played again 🙃 https://t.co/NnFRdit3FW

Tyreek called Coin out saying:
“What sport has thug played again.”
Calling Cowherd a thug is probably the first time he has ever heard that diss in his media career. While I don’t think Hill’s comments are fair to the long time media member, being as he didn’t say anything too radical, it highlights further that Miami wants to be treated like a legitimate contender.
Colin did a reaction to hills comments today in which he shared his views of what he felt about Hill’s comments. Colin jokingly says that it hurts that Tyreek Called him a thug, and then continued to double down on his take that Miami has not done anything special yet and does not deserve legit respect for beating their first .500 team. He mentions again how the Dolphins only have one playoff win in the last 23 years and if they want the real respect of the NFL world they are going to have prove themselves in the playoffs.
