Tua Tagovailoa’s mom was a pure savage on Saturday as she came to the defense of her son amid the hate the Miami Dolphins quarterback got from an online troll.
Mrs. Tagovailoa was not having the disrespect on her kid, especially when she knows very well how hard Tua has worked to get to the point he is now.
Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa Gets Online Hate
On Saturday, Diane Tagovailoa–Tua’s mother–posted a photo with her son to greet him for his birthday. The Dolphins QB just turned 26, so the Tagovailoa matriarch made sure to show him some love.
Mrs. Tagovailoa wrote on X, “Happy Birthday son. We love you forever.”
While plenty of her followers joined in the birthday greetings, some haters just couldn’t help but ruin a wholesome moment. One critic re-shared the photo and captioned it with a nasty comments, calling Tua the “worst QB” they have ever seen.
Of course Mrs. Tagovailoa wouldn’t let such comment slide, especially not on her son’s birthday. In response to the hater. Tua’s mom said: “Your mom must be proud.”
Savage indeed.
Plenty of Tagovailoa supporters and Dolphins faithful supported the quarterback’s mom and proceeded to praise her for the response on the social media troll.
“Momma Tagovailoa from the top rope,” a commenter said, referencing how Mrs. Tagovailoa destroyed the hater. “Flamed him,” another one added.
“I am obsessed with Tua’s mom. Loving those mama bear vibes,” a supporter added.
A fourth Tagovailoa fan shared, “Tua’s mom out here rationing losers to another dimension.”
Is Miami Dolphins’ Tua Tagovailoa the Worst QB Ever?
It’s definitely clear that the said online troll is simply hating on Tua Tagovailoa. After all, it shouldn’t be forgotten that the QB recently led the Miami Dolphins to an 11-6 record, which is the second-best in the AFC alongside Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs.
While the Dolphins failed to make it past the Chiefs in the Wild Card round, the fact remains that Tagovailoa is way better than a number of QBs in the NFL.
Tagovailoa finished the 2023 campaign with 4624 yards and 29 touchdowns against 14 interceptions. He completed 69.3 percent of his passes as the Dolphins had one of the best offenses in the NFL in the season.
Sure enough, the “worst QB” ever wouldn’t be able to achieve such feat.
With that being said, for the haters looking to take down Tagovailoa with some mocking insults, they better do their research first. If not, Mama Tagovailoa will be on them.
As for Tua, he is expected to reach an extension with the Dolphins.
