Welcome to the sixth and final installment of this series, which focuses on five more NFL players who started in 2024 and are now in danger of losing their starting jobs. Position battles will heat up throughout the summer, thanks to live contact and padded practices. Many rookies drafted high are expected to start in Week 1, potentially dethroning current starters at their respective positions.

Jalen McMillan stepped up in the absence of Chris Godwin and Mike Evans and finished fourth on the team in receiving yards and second in touchdowns. He hauled in 37 receptions for 461 yards and eight touchdowns in 13 games and 12 starts. McMillan missed four games, Weeks 4-5 and 9-10, with a hamstring injury.

He will compete against first-round pick Emeka Egbuka for the number-three wide receiver role. So far, Egbuka has impressed throughout mandatory minicamp and is the early favorite. However, both players could start if Chris Godwin is not ready by Week 1.
