The Miami Dolphins are working to build up their offensive line to be at the strength it was last season, adding some weapons like Aaron Brewer to a three-year, $21M deal earlier this offseason. Losing both Robert Hurt and Connor Williams, it was tough for the Dolphins and they took a hit. Luckily, they’ve been able to sign back some veterans that help bring a boost to the offensive line.
Miami Dolphins Re-Sign Isaiah Wynn to a 1-Year Deal
ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported on Monday morning that the Dolphins were bringing back Isaiah Wynn on a one-year deal, per his agents Drew Rosenhaus and Shawn O’Dare.

Wynn, 28, was signed to a one-year, $2.3M deal late in the free agency period from the New England Patriots He would start in the first seven games of the season at left guard, where he played 392 total snaps. While he didn’t allow a single sack last season, he was clocked for three penalties.
The offensive lineman’s season would be cut short after he suffered a quad injury in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Once the Miami Dolphins placed him on injured reserve, he didn’t see another game that season.
There aren’t many signs from the Dolphins in this offseason that I’ve been against, it seems like they’re trying to build up that strength. Signing Wynn back was necessary for a team who’s been known to have a pretty tough offensive line.
While there’s no official confirmation anywhere on whether or not Wynn will be the starting left guard for 2024, there’s a high probability we will see him there at some point with newest Dolphins member Aaron Brewer and vets Terron Armstead and Austin Jackson playing at tackle.
