LSU Tigers QB Jayden Daniels has made headlines during this 2023 college football. Last week, he won the Heisman Trophy to wrap up the best season in his college football career. Now, he has a major announcement about his career moving forward.
LSU Tigers QB Jayden Daniels Tweets Thank You Video
Jayden Daniels tweeted a thank you video to summarize his time with the LSU Tigers. He ended the video by saying “Five out.” It all but confirms Daniels is heading to the NFL next season. He captioned the video in the tweet saying:
“Forever LSU! Thank you!” -Jayden Daniels
Jayden Daniels’ College Football Career
Daniels played college football for five years. His last two years were spent with LSU. After three disappointing years at Arizona State, he decided to transfer to LSU to revitalize his college football career.
It is safe to say that this worked out great for him. How did he do these last two seasons? Daniels had 21 rushing touchdowns, 57 touchdown passes, 6,725 passing yards, and 2,019 rushing yards in two seasons with the LSU Tigers. It concluded with a Heisman Trophy in his 2023 season.
Looking Ahead
In the thank you video, Daniels emphasized he felt good about LSU’s quarterback situation moving forward. Now, he can look ahead to the NFL. Admittedly, it is going to be quite a competitive quarterback draft class in 2024.
However, many mock drafts have Daniels getting drafted high in the first round. Some even have him going in the top five. No matter what pick he gets drafted with, the future looks bright for Daniels.
