The Los Angeles Rams just got incredible news for Thursday night and moving forward. They are getting their elite receiver Puka Nacua back and he will be joined by their other elite receiver Cooper Kupp. This comes at the best time as they have not been able to be productive on offense without these guys.

Puka has been out since the team’s first game in their Week 1 loss and has spent the last five in the injured reserve. His teammate who has been in rumored trade talks, Cupp, has also been sidelined with injury. This has left the Rams at 2-4 to start the season, but with both returning they could get back on track in a tight division.

Matthew Stafford is going to get some huge help for the Thursday Night Football matchup against the elite Minnesota Vikings. They will need all the help to beat the Vikings as they have one of the best defenses in the NFL.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed that Puka is set to return on Thursday night, however, the pregame will determine how much he will play:

The Rams still have a great opportunity to sneak back into their division race, as the Seahawks are only a couple of games ahead of them in the standings and there is so much football left to play.

The Rams were considered to be a real contender to start the year but they just suffered so many injuries to start the year, especially at their offensive line, that they did not have much of a chance in these games. The degree of injuries around the NFL for some teams is truly insane in today’s league.

Los Angeles was perhaps the most inured team at so many positions on the offensive side of the ball, and now that they are getting some of their key players back they may be back on track to win their division. Seattle has a huge game against the Buffalo Bills this week, and the San Francisco 49ers are almost as injured as the Rams. While it would take a lot for the Rams to win their division, now that they have both elite receivers back they are also back in the race.

From a fantasy football perspective, this is huge as Puka was one of the highest picks at receiver this tear going into many drafts. Fans have been all over social media rejoicing that one of the best fantasy players is going to be back on the field.
