Second year Los Angeles Rams breakout running back, Kyren Williams, who essentially forced Cam Akers to be traded to the Minnesota Vikings, was having an impressive year in 2023 with 458 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns, averaging 4.7 yards/carry, before an ankle injury suffered against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6 sidelined him for the past 6 weeks.
Now, it looks like Williams is officially due to make his comeback, ironically at the Arizona Cardinals, in Week 12, per Ian Rapoport.

How This Impacts The Los Angeles Rams Offence
The Los Angeles Rams have had an up-and-down year, which was to be expected with a so-so team coming into 2023. Much of this has come down to both injury luck; both Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp have spent time on the sidelines this year. Yet the Rams have also been the beneficiary of two of the league’s best breakout offensive players; wide receiver Puka Nacua and of course, Kyren Williams.
Having Williams back brings more dynamism and consistency to a Los Angeles Rams running back room that currently only has veteran journeyman Royce Freeman, and rookie Zach Evans. Equally, the Rams also benefit this week from some huge news regarding former Offensive Player of the Year, Cooper Kupp.
With these two back, the Rams will certainly be in a better place to continue strong divisional momentum, having beaten the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11. Let’s see how they face this week against the resurgent Arizona Cardinals – who now have quarterback, Kyler Murray, back from injury. The Los Angeles Rams are currently 1.5 point favorites for this clash in Phoenix.
