The Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos game has some major updates early on. Broncos star defender Patrick Surtain went to the locker room early to get checked out for a concussion, and Chargers receiver Quentin Johnston left the game to be checked out for an injury. On top of all the early injuries to some key players, Los Angeles head coach Jim Harbaugh also left the game early on with what is being called an illness.
Los Angeles Chargers Coach Leaves Game
Harbaugh was officially listed as questionable to return to the game with what the team calls an illness. This made defensive coordinator Jesse Minter the acting head coach while Harbaugh was getting checked out in the locker room.
#Chargers HC Jim Harbaugh (illness) is questionable to return. DC Jesse Minter is serving as interim HC.
Don't think I've ever posted an update like that before. Hoping it's nothing serious for Harbaugh. https://t.co/ElemCcX9IZ pic.twitter.com/zza1NKNWEF

Especially for Harbaugh. This is a bit concerning considering his age.
