Hunter counts $13.7 million against the cap. He had his most disappointing season in 2023, posting 25 receptions for 255 yards.
Renfrow’s Career with the Raiders
Hunter has played all five seasons with the Raiders (his rookie year was in Oakland, the rest in Las Vegas). He has 269 receptions for 2,884 yards. His breakout season was in 2021 when Renfrow had over 1,000 yards receiving.
According to SI.com, in June 2022, the Raiders signed Renfrow to a two-year, $32.329-million contract, only months after the club acquired Adams. Las Vegas also recently extended former franchise quarterback Derek Carr and edge rusher Maxx Crosby heftily.
Las Vegas Raiders Moves
The Raiders are making some significant changes. New Head Coach Antonio Pierce has not shied away from reloading his roster to prepare for the 2024 season.
The most significant addition so far is defensive tackle Christian Wilkins. Wilkins signed a mega-deal worth $110 million. He and Maxx Crosby will be necessary to win the division as long as Patrick Mahomes plays for Kansas City.
The Raiders are also thought to move on with Jimmy Garoppolo when the new league year begins. Renfrow and Garoppolo’s release will free up about $43 million in cap space.
