The Las Vegas Raiders have been given a proper scare on Sunday night after star quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was forced to exit the game in the first half against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Las Vegas Raiders Star Jimmy Garoppolo Suffers Leg Injury Vs. Steelers
Garoppolo got his legs caught in a sack by Pittsburgh linebacker TJ Watt. It did not look good:

The silver lining here is that Garoppolo was able to get up under his own power and he was able to walk on his own as he headed off the field. However, it looked like he was in some pain after the hit.
Garopollo entered halftime with 12-of-18 completed passes for 155 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The 31-year-old’s interception early in the second quarter was his fourth of the season.
Jimmy Garoppolo Returns for Second Half
It appears that Jimmy G and the Raiders may have dodged a bullet here. Garoppolo was back on the field when the play resumed in the second half of action, and it looks like he will be able to play through the injury for the remainder of the contest.
Then again, you have to note that this is Jimmy Garoppolo we’re talking about here, and as we all know, he isn’t exactly the most durable player out there. The two-time Super Bowl champ has a long list of injuries behind him, including his season-ending foot injury last season with the San Francisco 49ers.
While Las Vegas supporters can sigh a collective breath of relief, Garoppolo’s situation will still be worth monitoring if he requires further testing on his leg after the game.
