The Kansas City Chiefs are the dynasty to beat in the NFL right now. Almost everyone who aren’t Chiefs fans hate their guts, but they have no choice but to watch from the sidelines due to how insanely good the team has been over the past couple of years.
One of the major reasons for the team’s success is Travis Kelce. Whenever the media are not hounding him about his very-public relationship with pop star Taylor Swift, the 34-year-old tight end thrives as Patrick Mahomes’ favorite target.
Now that the Chiefs have three Super Bowl rings, they have huge targets behind their backs. However, all of the ire has temporarily gone to their Super Bowl rings since it has a surprising error on them.
While people have their two cents on this very costly gaffe, Travis decided to take a comedic route with the rings.
Travis Kelce gives a hilarious reaction to error on Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl ring
During the latest New Heights episode, Travis Kelce talked with his brother and former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason about the Kansas City Chiefs rings and the error that listed the Miami Dolphins as the seventh seed.
While the Dolphins did have to make the AFC playoffs through the Wild Card, the Steelers had the bottom seed.
While Jason pointed out the error, it was clear that Travis couldn’t care less about the actual seeding during their epic Super Bowl run.
Per Entertainment Tonight’s Hope Sloop:
“One major little goof on the ring, Miami is listed as the seventh seed because it has all of the games you guys had to win to get there. Miami was actually the sixth seed. I guess that’s just the way the ring is […] are you gonna get it fixed?” Jason, 36, asked his younger brother.
“I don’t give a s**t,” Travis responded, hilariously adding, “I like it that we didn’t give a f**k about what seed Miami is.”
It’s a hilarious jab that shows how confident and carefree Travis is about life and football. While many of his teammates would want it corrected, it’s clear from his response that all that matters to him is that they have a ring and the rest of the NFL doesn’t.
