The Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens will finally kick off the 2024 NFL regular season tonight in a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship Game. It has been a long offseason for fans who are more than ready to have regular season football back on their screens.

Of course, one of the biggest draws of any Chiefs game since last September is the possibility of seeing popstar Taylor Swift in a box cheering for Kansas City. As fans are well-aware, the 14-time Grammy Award winner is dating Chiefs All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce.

Last year, Swift attended 13 Chiefs games, including the AFC Championship Game and Super Bowl. She famously flew directly from Tokyo, Japan (where she was on tour) to Las Vegas, Nevada in order to be present for it.

As the 2024 regular season begins, many are wondering how many games the international superstar will attend.

Will Taylor Swift Attend the Week 1 Matchup Between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens?

Last season, the NFL saw their ratings increase for games in which Swift was in attendance. Last season’s AFC Championship Game set a record for viewership with 55 million people tuning in to watch the contest.

So, with the new season starting, just how many games will Swift attend?

According to a report in The Athletic by Nate Taylor and Dianna Russini, “she will be in attendance for Thursday night’s season opener against the Ravens.”

Swift is currently taking a break from her Eras Tour, which is scheduled to start up again in a few weeks.

Another report in The Athletic by Alex Andrejev breaks down the Chiefs’ schedule along with Swift’s concert dates. According to his research, there are 10 games that do not interfere with her tour. These include the first five games of the 2024 regular season as well as five of the last six games of the season.

There are four other games during which she does not perform but may not be able to attend due to travel.

If the 14-time Grammy Award winner attends all the games that do not conflict with her tour, she will be at 10 regular season games, and then any postseason games the Chiefs play.

Per Andrejev’s report, the Chiefs games that do not conflict with Swift’s concert and travel schedules are:

    • Week 1 vs Baltimore Ravens
    • Week 2 vs Cincinnati Bengals
    • Week 3 at Atlanta Falcons
    • Week 4 at Los Angeles Chargers
    • Week 5 vs New Orleans Saints
    • Week 13 vs Las Vegas Raiders
    • Week 15 at Cleveland Browns
    • Week 16 vs Houston Texans
    • Week 17 at Pittsburgh Steelers (Christmas Day Game)
    • Week 18 at Denver Broncos

The exact date and time of the last game of the season is yet to be determined, but her Eras Tour will be concluded by that point.
