Buffalo Bills: Amid Stephon Diggs Drama, Josh Allen Reveals Which Receivers He’d Like To See Drafted in 2024

If you are an NFL fan looking for a drama that does not involve Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, look no further than the Buffalo Bills. For years, the Bills have felt like they’ve been on the cusp of being great, making at least the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs each of the four years. Despite this success, the Bills haven’t been to a Super Bowl since 1994 and have never won it all.

Losing can get frustrating for any team, but getting so close year after year may be even harder. After four seasons of falling short, tensions may have reached a boiling point, and players, including Stephon Diggs and Josh Allen, are two of the best players on the team.

Diggs has been releasing social media posts that have suggested that he is ready to leave the team, and on Wednesday, Josh Allen jumped on the speculation train by not just saying that he hopes the team drafts some young receiving talent but went as far as to name his preferences.

Despite Stephon Diggs still being on the team and bringing in receivers Curtis Samuel and Mack Hollins, Josh Allen still didn’t hold back at all while on the podcast “The QB Room”. He shared the following comments:

“The top three guys, Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, and Marvin Harrison Jr. are all three pretty great prospects…Then you get to that kinda second-ish tier, if you will, of Brian Thomas, Adonai Mitchell, I think Keon Coleman, Troy Franklin, Xavier Worthy are all there, Xavier Legette.”

It’s not uncommon for quarterbacks to express a desire to draft a particular position player; however, going as far as to name not just one but nine players on three different tiers is unheard of. Imagine the drama around a player like Xavier Worthy getting drafted by the Bills and knowing that he is considered a third-tier receiver, or worse a receiver who didn’t even make the list. Sure, I’m sure they two would get over it, but why start that drama in the first place?
