The Kansas City Chiefs had a dire injury report at the start of the practice week on Wednesday afternoon. It doesn’t look much more hopeful for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens as of Friday afternoon.
Isiah Pacheco might not play
The best Chiefs’ injury news of the week came Friday morning when it was reported running back Isiah Pacheco (toe/ankle) was back to practice. However, according to the Chiefs injury report Friday, Pacheco was back in a limited capacity at practice.
Per the injury report, Pacheco, Wilkie Gay, Mike Edwards, and Kadarius Toney are all questionable to play the Ravens.
The Kansas City Chiefs ruled out three players
The Chiefs have worse news for a few other key players. Defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi has been ruled out due to his tricep injury. He did not practice at all this week. Offensive lineman Joe Thuney (pec) was ruled out after missing practice all week.
Wide receiver Skyy Moore was not activated from injured reserve by Friday’s deadline and will not play in the AFC Championship Game. Moore suffered a setback in practice last Thursday. He did not practice at all this week.
The Chiefs could be shorthanded if they make the Super Bowl
The Chiefs must overcome several significant injuries to beat the Ravens this weekend. Even if they win, there has to be deep concern for the Super Bowl with three players who didn’t even practice this week.
