Jim Harbaugh has continued to go on his NFL head coaching tour, having started with the Los Angeles Chargers, it seems like the Stanos’ are not the only one coveting the former 49ers coach, NFC Conference Champion and reigning FBS National Champion.
After getting some strong endorsements from none other than his brother and Super Bowl XLVII foe – John Harbaugh, it seems like other suitors have started to inquire about the younger Harbaugh’s services, which are expected to be in high demand.
Now, Jim Harbaugh has officially completed an interview with a second NFL team, per the Atlanta Falcons.

Jim Harbaugh Heading To The Atlanta Falcons?
Jim Harbaugh joins a list of excellent head coaching candidates including San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator, Steve Wilks, Detroit Lions offensive coordinator, Ben Johnson and even the mighty Bill Belichick.
It seems to be that Falcons owner, Arthur Blank, after not being satisfied with former hire, namesake Arthur Smith, may have decided to pivot strategy in 2024, as Jordan Schultz notes.
As we discussed last week, Arthur Blank and the #Falcons continue to go big fish hunting. https://t.co/KxyuEtIrZr

Landing either one of Harbaugh or Belichick would be a massive coup in and of itself. However, it may be that the talents of young offensive gurus, Bill Calahan and the aforementioned Johnson may end up beating out the old tried-and-tested talents of the FBS National Champion and 6x Super Bowl winner respectively.
Yet, after failing with another ‘offensive guru’ type in Arthur Smith – who I, personally, still maintain is an excellent coach, it may be that the old heads are the preferred pick after all.
Regardless, this should make for excellent viewings as all – or all but one team – take some time to ponder their options at head coach, and make a decision that could well impact their future in years to come.
