Lawrence missed practice all week due to the shoulder injury, but nothing was placed on the Week 17 injury report about his finger. The Jaguars expected Lawrence to practice last Thursday, but the quarterback reportedly had a setback. It was unclear what setback Lawrence had. We still don’t know why Lawrence had a setback last week. But we do know something happened between the Jaguars’ Week 17 game when Lawrence injured his shoulder and Wednesday’s practice to cause a finger injury to appear on the report.
Lawrence is right-handed, so his new injury shouldn’t keep him from playing against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. The Jaguars need to defeat the Titans to win the AFC South and clinch a spot in the playoffs.
