The Jacksonville Jaguars lost to the Chicago Bears in London 35-16 on Sunday. Jacksonville usually performs well in London, but Sunday was not one of those instances.
Trevor Lawrence had another rough day with completing 23-of-35 passes for 234 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. What also didn’t help is that his wide receivers were dropping passes as well.
Jacksonville Jaguars Fans Want Trevor Lawrence Benched For Mac Jones
Some Jaguars fans want Lawrence benched for Mac Jones, but the odds of that happening are very silm unleess Lawrence gets injured. Here are what the fans had to say about it on Twitter:
Time to blow it up. Nobody will trade for Trevor the way he’s playing with that cap hit, but you could still get like a 3rd for Brian Thomas.

reminder you idiots paid trevor lawrence $275M for five years to get absolutely bodied every game. you can pay me 1/1000th of the cost & get the same results.

That’s a bench-worthy interception by Trevor Lawrence. So bad that the Jaguars have no choice but to start Mac Jones next week against the Patriots.

Jags need to fire their head coach and bench Lawrence, you need to find out if Mac Jones is decent and serviceable, because Trevor Lawrence isn’t anymore, the guys lost it.

There are a lot of people who believe that Lawrence is overpaid. They are stuck with his contract for the immediate future.
Jaguars Face the New England Patriots Next Week
Next week, the Jaguars will face the New England Patriots in London. Even though Mac Jones won’t be playing in the game, Jones was traded from the Patriots this offseason.
Lawrence needs to have a big time performance next weekend against New England. If it doesn’t happen, then the fans will continue to call for Lawrence to be benched for Mac Jones.
