The Kansas City Chiefs are set to have one of their offensive weapons return to the lineup one week after they underwent shoulder surgery. The Chiefs are getting set to play the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day.
The Chiefs, who broke their two-game losing streak with a win over the New England Patriots Sunday, still have issues with their wide receivers. Head coach Andy Reid said the team would consider benching wide receiver Kadarius Toney after his drop turned into a Patriots interception on Sunday.
The Kansas City Chiefs will get their RB1 back
The Chiefs have missed their top running back option in their previous two outings. Isiah Pacheco underwent shoulder surgery last week for an injury he sustained against the Green Bay Packers. According to Pete Sweeney with Arrowhead Pride, Reid said barring a setback, Pacheco would play against the Raiders this week,
“He’ll be back this week. He’ll be good to go this week, unless there’s further setbacks. But right now, everything’s positive for him to go.”

The Chiefs offense will be much more formidable with Pacheco back on the field. Pacheco is averaging 4.4 yards per rush this season. Backup running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is averaging 3.4 yards per rush.
