Wide receiver issues have plagued the Chiefs for all five of their losses this season. The Chiefs’ best backfield weapon to complement their passing game will be unavoidable on Sunday.

Running back Isiah Pacheco missed the Chiefs’ Week 14 loss to the Bills. He missed the first two practices this week. According to Pete Sweeney of Arrowhead Pride, Pacheco will miss the Chiefs contest against the Patriots. Pacheco underwent surgery for his shoulder.

The Chiefs think Pacheco will return in time for their Christmas matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Chiefs will turn to Clyde Edwards-Helaire as their lead running back against the Patriots. He’s averaging 3.5 yards per rush this season.
