The Kansas City Chiefs revealed good injury news on Saturday night regarding one of their key offensive skilled players. The Chiefs are set to play the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.
The Kansas City Chiefs had a lot of injuries this week
The Chiefs had several key offensive players on the injury report this week. The team ruled out offensive lineman Joe Thuney on Friday afternoon. Wide receiver Kadarius Toney was downgraded to out on Saturday for ankle/personal reasons.
The Chiefs had better news on Saturday for running back Isiah Pacheco. Pacheco was ruled Friday as questionable to play the Ravens due to a toe/ankle injury he suffered against the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round.
Isiah Pacheco will play in the AFC Championship Game
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, Pacheco will play in the AFC Championship Game.

Pacheco missed the first two practices of the week. However, he returned to the Chiefs’ final practice of the week on Friday in a limited capacity.
How effective will Pacheco be?
Pacheco will be a boost to the Chiefs’ offense. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has used Pacheco to balance an offense that has struggled at times with its receiver play this season.
Pacheco will likely still be bothered by the injury against the Ravens. It’s clear the Chiefs tried to protect him at practice this week. The Chiefs will hope his ankle can give them another 60 minutes against the Ravens.
If the Chiefs win Sunday, Pacheco will have two weeks to heal before the Super Bowl.
