The Indianapolis Colts are competing for both the AFC Wild Card and the AFC South as they are 8-6 right now and are currently the seventh seed in the conference. However, the team has some big issues going on and the details at the time are murky at best as both cornerback Tony Brown and wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie have been suspended by the Indianapolis Colts for the remainder of the season, per the team.
The #Colts had CB Tony Brown and WR Isaiah McKenzie as healthy scratches for Saturday's game vs. the Steelers. Now they are suspended them for the rest of the season, indicating something not good happened last week. https://t.co/kvCnV7kJwL

While the details surrounding the suspension have not been released, it is interesting to hear it is labeled as “conduct detrimental to the team”. This report has just recently been announced and there is no word as of this writing if the NFL Players Association will get involved with a suspension surrounding these two players.
Wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie has barely seen the field after being signed in the offseason as he has 11 receptions on 14 targets for 82 yards (7.5 yards per catch) as well as three rushing attempts for 14 yards (4.7 yards per carry). Cornerback Tony Brown also has barely been involved as he has posted 10 total tackles (eight solo, two assist) with a forced fumble, a pass deflection and an interception.
It will be interesting to see if anything comes out or if either player publicly responds to the news. Both McKenzie and Brown were healthy scratches on Sunday and will be out the remainder of the regular season.
Can the Indianapolis Colts make the playoffs?
The Indianapolis Colts have been dealing with a bunch of injuries to key players, such as quarterback Anthony Richardson and running back Jonathan Taylor, as well as suspending two players. However, this team has fought to be in the conversation for the playoffs. They have the path ahead to really do wonders and still make the playoffs.
Below is their remaining three games. It will be interesting as this team is on a roll, winning five of their previous six games to be in this position in the first place. They lose the tiebreaker with the Jaguars for the AFC South and already beat the Texans once with a game still to play. The AFC South will be one of the divisions to go to wire with three teams competing for the divisional crown and a home playoff game.
Indianapolis Colts Remaining Schedule
- Week 16: at Atlanta Falcons
- Week 17: vs Las Vegas Raiders
- Week 18: vs Houston Texans
