It’s still unclear what kind of player Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson will ultimately become on the field.
But one thing about Richardson seems pretty clear — the man is already a stud of a person off the field.
The Colts rookie last week crossed paths with a 19-year-old named Parker Suddeth, who was going through some car trouble while driving down I-65. Richardson was kind enough to lend a hand when nobody else would.
Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson Helps Out A Stranded Fan In Need
Richardson went viral this week after Parker had posted the story and snaps from their chance encounter on Instagram.
“What an odd way to meet [Anthony Richardson],” Suddeth wrote. “Zoe and I had a tire blowout on I-65 and the only man who had the decency to help us was Anthony. HUGE thank you to this guy and Carl from the emergency transportation department for helping us out. I guess I’m a colts fan now.”
Richardson responded to the post in the comments.
“My guy! Weird way to make a new friend, rooting for ya my dude!” said Richardson.
Awesome: Colts QB Anthony Richardson came to the rescue after seeing a young couple with a tire blowout on the highway.
“The only man who has the decency to help us was Anthony.”

Richardson may be double Parker’s size physically and (probably) millions of dollars richer, but the man is just two years older than the fan he ended up helping.
The 21-year-old showed off his altruistic side in a big way by simply helping out someone in need. Had Parker never posted about the incident, perhaps nobody would have ever even known about it.
Anthony Richardson Is Poised For A Big Sophomore Season With The Indianapolis Colts
Richardson’s rookie campaign was riddled with injuries. The Colts QB suffered a season-ending shoulder injury that kept him out of action from Week 5 onwards. Richardson played just four games, throwing for 577 yards with 3 touchdowns and 1 interception.
But 6’4″ signal caller was still able to show flashes of the immense physical gifts he has at his disposal. With a clean bill of health heading into the next season, Richardson will look to remind Colts fans why the team used a top-3 pick to acquire him.
The Colts’ backup behind behind Richardson last season in Gardner Minshew is no longer with the team. But another veteran will be in the QB room with Richardson in case he suffers any setbacks.
