The Houston Texans needed to add depth at the swing tackle position for their offensive line because Laremy Tunsil dealt with a knee injury all season. Tunsil underwent knee surgery in February and missed the start of OTAs.
Tytus Howard moved from RT to LG last season because the guard position battled injuries. Howard also battled injuries, which limited him to seven games. He underwent knee surgery in December and missed the start of OTAs. He will likely start at RT when he returns to the football field.
George Fant, who played most of the season at RT, departed in free agency and signed with the Seattle Seahawks.
