The Houston Texans’ offensive line struggled in C.J. Stroud’s rookie season. Stroud was hurried 47 times (6th-most), hit 38 times (18th-most), pressured 123 times (10th-most), pressured 22% of the time (14th-most), and sacked 38 times (8th-most).
Houston’s offensive line struggled this season because many battled injuries, including their Pro Bowl left tackle, who underwent knee surgery.

Laremy Tunsil recently underwent successful arthroscopic surgery in Dallas to fix his left knee, which affected him during the season.
Tunsil battled a knee injury all season.
Tunsil suffered a knee injury in Week 1, which caused him to miss the next three games. Tunsil managed the injury by having it drained a few times during the season.
Tunsil exited in the second quarter with a knee injury in the Wild Card round but returned to the game and played in every snap in the Divisional Round.
Tunsil had ten penalties, five sacks allowed, and a 73.4 PFF Grade, earning his 4th Pro Bowl.
The Pro Bowl tackle means a lot to their young quarterback.
C.J. Stroud is grateful for Laremy Tunsil and regards him as one of the best players in the league.
“Laremy is a top player in this league: top five, top three, top two, not two,” Stroud said. “Laremy is a dog. He was the first person to contact me after I got drafted. I don’t know what he seen, but he seen something special in me and always let me know.
“That instilled a lot of confidence in me. You see him going against some of the top defensive ends and holding it down. I’m super appreciative of him. He’s a brother. I can ask him for anything. He’s always there for me, and I’m always there for him.”
When will Tunsil be ready?
Laremy Tunsil is expected to make a full and quick recovery and should be ready to go for offseason activities.
