The Houston Texans are coming off of great wild card win against the Cleveland Browns. Texans rookie QB C.J. Stroud even broke multiple NFL playoff records during that game. However, it looks like he will have to go through the remainder of the playoffs without one of his best offensive weapons.
Noah Brown Placed on Injured Reserve
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Houston Texans have placed WR Noah Brown on the Injured Reserve list. Brown suffered a shoulder injury during Saturday’s win over Cleveland. He was also recovering from a back injury prior to that game. Now, he will be sidelined for the rest of the season.
Houston Texans Moving Forward
Now, the Texans must move forward without one of their best offensive weapons. However, they have shown that they are willing to face adversity head-on. With Saturday’s win, Houston became the first team to win a playoff game with a rookie head coach and rookie quarterback since the 2009 New York Jets.

It is unclear who the Texans face in the divisional round. Their opponent depends on the result of the rescheduled Buffalo Bills vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game. If the Bills win, the Texans will play the Baltimore Ravens. If the Steelers win, the Texans will play the Kansas City Chiefs.
