Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton was entering his fourth NFL season. He was the 14th overall pick from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Hamilton is one of the best safeties in the NFL. He has made a major impact on the Ravens over the first three seasons of his NFL career. Baltimore could potentially have one of the best secondaries in the NFL for the upcoming 2025 NFL season.
Baltimore Ravens Give Kyle Hamilton Contract Extension

Players are eligible for a contract extension after their third NFL season. Well, Hamilton is the next cornerstone piece for this franchise that the Ravens have decided to lock up for the long-term. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, he reported on his Twitter on Wednesday,
“The #Ravens and All-Pro Safety Kyle Hamilton have agreed to a record breaking 4-year extension worth over $100M with $82M guaranteed. The deal – which averages $25.1M per year – makes Hamilton the highest paid S in NFL history and the highest paid non-QB in Ravens history in a deal negotiated by Kyle McCarthy and Brian Murphy of
.”
This is going to potentially reset the market for the safety position. Hamilton is just 24 years old. During the 2024 season with the Ravens, he recorded 107 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one interception, and nine pass deflections. There is no doubt that this was a smart move by the franchise to sign one of the best defensive players on the team to a long-term deal as well.
