Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre is one of the best players in NFL history. A three-time NFL MVP during his playing days, Favre ranks fourth all-time in passing yards (71,838) and fourth in touchdown passes (508). His countless heroic moments on the gridiron will forever live on in Packers and NFL lore.
That being said, Favre has not made the best headlines since leaving Green Bay in 2008. His time with the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings brought two different lawsuits for sexual harassment and in retirement he has been at the center of a welfare scandal in his home state of Mississippi.
Despite these allegations, Favre remains an incredibly popular player, especially among fans who have right-wing political ideology.
Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Brett Favre Is a Donald Trump Supporter
While Favre is not really one to get involved in national politics, he has endorsed former United States President Donald Trump on multiple occasions. The two have several well-documented golf outings together:

Last year, Favre gave an interview to Fearless in which he stated he felt the United States of America was better under Trump’s leadership than current President Joe Biden’s.
“I think Donald was a non-political president, and I liked that about him,” Favre said. “Was he perfect? Absolutely not. Am I perfect? Absolutely not. I’m flawed just like the rest of ’em. We’re all flawed. But, I really felt like he had our country in a better place and really cared about our people in our country.”
Trump, of course, is likely to be the Republican nominee for this year’s Presidential election. Following the last debate between Trump and Biden, there are some who wonder if the current President might have to step down as the Democratic nominee due to concerns regarding his age and mental state.
If that does happen, Favre has made it clear that he is not a fan of one of the possible candidates.
Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Brett Favre Takes a Shot at Possible Joe Biden Replacement
One of the people that has been named as a possible Democratic nominee for President instead of Biden is California Governor Greg Newsome.
A post on X (formerly Twitter) said that Newsome “just LOOKS like a villain.” Favre chimed in, “Yes, he does!”
Yes he does!!

What happens in the coming months regarding Presidential nominations and the election itself is anyone’s guess, but Favre has made it quite clear which side of the aisle he is on.
