Georgia Bulldogs tight end Brock Bowers is one of the most talented players in the 2024 NFL Draft. He is the number one tight-end prospect on the board and there have been many mock drafts in the past where he was going to be selected in the top 10.
With a lot going on over the last month or so, it appears as if Bowers may be the one talent that is going to slip in this draft. There will be a lot of teams that take a quarterback in the Top 10. The Chicago Bears, the Washington Commanders, and the New England Patriots own the first three picks in the draft and it appears as if they will draft a quarterback.
It feels as if a wide receiver will be selected with the fourth selection by the Arizona Cardinals and the fifth selection by the Los Angeles Chargers. The New York Giants can very well go with a quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft with the sixth pick.
The Tennessee Titans will most likely go with an offensive lineman with the seventh pick and the Atlanta Falcons will take a defensive player with the eighth selection. With the ninth pick, the Chicago Bears will take an offensive lineman, and the New York Jets with the 10th selection will take an offensive lineman as well.
With the 11th selection by the Minnesota Vikings, they are the total wild card in this draft and can take defense or offense, but not tight end Brock Bowers from the Georgia Bulldogs. The Denver Broncos with the 12 selection will go with a quarterback, and the Las Vegas Raiders will most likely take a defensive lineman with the 13 selection.
Georgia Bulldogs Tight End Brock Bowers Will Probably Goes As Early As 14 to the New Orleans Saints
With the Saints needing a tight end with the 14th pick and with Brock Bowers most likely being the best available player in this position, that would be a great pickup for quarterback Derek Carr. It would be a steal for New Orleans with this selection and it would be surprising he is still floating around.
Bowers did have some injuries this season with the Georgia Bulldogs, but his talent can’t be questioned. He had 714 yards receiving and six touchdowns this year with Georgia. Bowers has the potential to be one of the best tight ends in the NFL and can also block extremely well.
The Indianapolis Colts and the Seattle Seahawks will pick after that and it feels like Bowers won’t get past Seattle if still available on the board. There are always talented NFL players in the draft that slip.
