Bulldogs fans were so happy for Smart after the win. He is here to have this team as a contender in the sport for the long haul. He already has two National Titles under his belt and could very well win another title this season depending on how things play out.
Ranked #2 In the AP Poll
After the win, the Georgia Bulldogs jumped from five to two in the AP rankings. As for the Texas Longhorns, they dropped from number one to number five in the AP rankings. This week the Bulldogs will be on a bye week.
After that, Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs will face the unranked Florida Gators in another archrivalry matchup. Georgia needs to be prepared like they were this weekend against Texas moving forward if they want to accomplish another SEC Title and National Title this college football season.
