Georgia Bulldogs: Fans Explode Over Kirby Smart Getting the Game Ball After 100th Career Victory Against the Texas Longhorns

The Georgia Bulldogs went into a hostile environment on Saturday night against the Texas Longhorns on the road. Georgia was ranked fifth in the nation and Texas was ranked first in the nation. The Bulldogs dominated the game from start to finish as they defeated the Longhorns 30-15.

After the win, Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart received a game ball for his 100th career victory as a head coach. He has been the Bulldogs head coach since the 2016 season.

The Bulldogs Twitter page posted a video of Smart receiving the game ball for his 100th career victory after the win against the Texas Longhorns. Here is what Georgia fans had to say about it:

Bulldogs fans were so happy for Smart after the win. He is here to have this team as a contender in the sport for the long haul. He already has two National Titles under his belt and could very well win another title this season depending on how things play out.

After the win, the Georgia Bulldogs jumped from five to two in the AP rankings. As for the Texas Longhorns, they dropped from number one to number five in the AP rankings. This week the Bulldogs will be on a bye week.

After that, Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs will face the unranked Florida Gators in another archrivalry matchup. Georgia needs to be prepared like they were this weekend against Texas moving forward if they want to accomplish another SEC Title and National Title this college football season.
