The New York Giants offense at home once again was abysmal against the Philadelphia Eagles. Daniel Jones has been criticized time and time again by the fans this season. When the Eagles took a 28-3 lead in the fourth quarter over the Giants, head coach Brian Daboll benched Jones for Lock.
When Drew Lock came into the game, many New York fans cheered when this move was made. Daniel Jones completed 14-of-21 passes for 99 yards in the game. He also rushed for 20 yards on five carries.

The Giants will have a massive decision to make heading into the Week 8 matchup on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Drew Lock completed 3-of-8 passes for six yards in relief. It will be interesting to see what head coach Brian Daboll says to the media after the game.
Quarterback Controversy
What if this was the final snap that Jones played in for the New York Giants this season? At this point, it is a lost season for the Giants. Drew Lock or Tommy DeVito needs to be the quarterback for the rest of the season and then they need to draft someone in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Giants fanbase does not want to see Daniel Jones play quarterback anymore this season or suit up for them ever again. Jones has been horrendous ever since he received his contract and thankfully, they can get out of it after the 2024 season.
