Follow along with this weekly thread as I give my favorite bets of the weekend. These bets will consist mostly of points spread lines and over/unders. I will add my favorite moneyline dog of the week as well. Sports gambling is quite the market.
College Football Bets of the Weekend:
Texas Tech +10 vs. NC State- First true road game for Tech as they travel to Raleigh to play NC State, but OC Zach Kittley has kept the high flying offense around in Lubbock. Tech scores enough points to cover.
Nevada + 23 vs. Iowa- I mean this one is truly self explanatory, can Iowa even score 23 points?
Texas A&M -5 vs. Miami- The Aggies had a terrible showing last week vs. App State, but I fully expect A&M to bounce back and win by two scores. Click on Texas A&M to read my article on Aggie Football at the moment.
Georgia vs. South Carolina Over 52.5– This new Georgia offense is much more high powered than in prior years, and South Carolina will also score points with Spencer Rattler. I think this game goes over easily.
BYU ML +150 vs. Oregon- Why is BYU plus money to win the game? I’ve watched enough of Jaren Hall to put my stock in the Cougars.

NFL Bets of the Weekend:
Chiefs -4 vs. Chargers- The Chargers are a very good football team, but Pat Mahomes in a home opener at Arrowhead is too much, Chiefs cover.
Seahawks +9.5 vs. 49’ers- Did Vegas watch football last weekend? 9.5 points is too many Hawks cover that.
Bucs vs. Saints Over 44.5– Since Tom Brady has been under center in Tampa this matchup (click “this matchup” to see recent scores) has gone under 44.5 one time, enough points get scored for this game to go over.
Vikings ML +110 vs. Eagles- Not many great odds on the moneyline this weekend in the NFL, but here’s a team I think will win outright with plus money.
