Ohio State and Michigan fans never seem to take time off from fighting with each other, and on Friday night, one former Buckeye player had his way with his former rival.
Troy Smith Trolls Michigan Fans
On Friday, former Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith took to his social media account X and tweeted, ” I OWN TTUN.” TTUN stands for Team Up North since Ohio State players and fans won’t say the word Michigan, and Smith wasn’t telling any lies when he stated he owned the TTUN.

Smith attended Ohio State from 2003 to 2006 and started three games against the Wolverines, winning all of them. The biggest game was in 2006 when Ohio State was ranked number one, and Michigan was number two. The game-winner went on to play for the National Championship.
The Buckeyes would win 42-39 and advance to the title game, but they would lose to the Florida Gators. That season, Smith walked away with the Heisman Trophy, so not all was lost.
Of course, other Ohio State players got involved by saying they also own the TTUN, and here were some of their reactions on Friday
Ohio State Player’s Reactions
Ted Ginn Jr., who played wide receiver at Ohio State at the same time while Smith was there, and Braxton Miller, who was a quarterback and wide receiver from 2011-2015, gave their thoughts about owing TTUN.

Michigan fans didn’t take the comments from the former Buckeye players well and here were some of their reactions.
