Now that the 2024 NFL draft has concluded, many football fans are looking forward to the fantasy football season. Here we will look at some late-round steals for fantasy football redrafts in 2024.
Fantasy Football Late-Round Steals
Demario Douglas (WR) New England Patriots
The New England Patriots had one of the worst offenses in the NFL in 2023. One bright spot for the Patriots in 2023 was rookie Demario Douglas. Douglas was the team’s leading receiver with 561 receiving yards.
Going into 2024 New England has tried to revamp their offense with the addition of quarterback Drake Maye. Douglas is projected to be a starting receiver for the Patriots and could be the number-one option again in 2024.
Douglas is currently being drafted in the 14th round in most fantasy football redrafts. Spending a 14th-round pick on Douglas seems like a steal, as he could be a starter in your fantasy football lineups in 2024.
Quentin Johnston (WR) Los Angeles Chargers
Just saying Quentin Johnston in 2024 can turn people away, but I still believe in him. After his 2023 season, Johnston is already being tagged as a bust. Johnston had over 400 receiving yards in 2023 but struggled all season with drops.
The good thing about Johnston is that he stayed healthy and showed signs of being a great NFL receiver. With the departure of Williams and Allen, there is a chance that Johnston could be the Chargers’ number-one option in 2024. He is currently being valued as a 13th-round pick in most fantasy football redrafts. Using a 13th-round pick on a potential number-one receiver seems like a great price to pay, as he could be a huge steal late in fantasy football drafts.
Chase Brown (RB) Cincinnati Bengals
I don’t understand why Chase Brown is being drafted so late in fantasy football redrafts. Brown was drafted in the late fifth round by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2023. He served as the backup to Joe Mixon while also seeing some playing time in 2023. Brown was most known for taking a couple of screen passes and scoring a touchdown in 2023.
The Bengals traded Joe Mixon to the Texans this offseason but also signed Zack Moss to compete for the starting role with Brown. Brown and Moss are similar players that thrive in the passing game. Brown is currently being valued as a late 10th-round pick in most redrafts. Spending a 10th-round pick on a starting running back in the NFL is insane. I will be adding Brown to every one of my fantasy football teams in 2024.

Ezekiel Elliott (RB) Dallas Cowboys
Last week Ezekiel Elliott signed a one-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys. Elliott left the Cowboys last season to play with the Patriots. Elliott was projected to be the backup in New England but was one of the premier players on their offense.
After Tony Pollard left the Cowboys this offseason, Rico Dowdle was projected to be the starter, but now that Elliot is back, he should take the starting role. He is currently going undrafted in most fantasy football redrafts. Being able to pick up a starting running back off of the waiver wire is insane value and should be picked up immediately after your fantasy football drafts.

Pat Freiermuth (TE) Pittsburgh Steelers
Pat Freiermuth was one of the most disappointing players in fantasy football in 2023. He was expected to be one of the top tight ends, but injury prohibited him from being one of the top tight ends.
Bringing in Wilson and Fields should help to get the tight end the ball more often. Another plus is that the Steelers traded away Diontae Johnson who was catching most of the underneath passes, and without him, Freiermuth should get more targets.
He is being drafted in the 12th round in most fantasy football redrafts. I believe Feiermuth is worth picking in the 12th round in the hope that he can be a key piece of the Steeler’s offense in 2024.
