NFL fans and private citizens had strong opinions on Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi’s latest bet. Pelosi, a representative for San Francisco, is hoping the San Francisco 49ers can notch a win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday’s Super Bowl.
Nancy Pelosi made a bet for the Super Bowl
As previously discussed on GH, Pelosi made a bet with a Missouri representative for the Super Bowl:
“Per Pelosi’s X account, the San Francisco representative sent a wager to Missouri’s fifth district representative, Emanuel Cleaver, on Friday afternoon. Pelosi will bet California-based treats, See’s Candy and Ghirardelli, for Kansas City barbecue”
Pelosi, who is known for making strategic and profitable stock investments, is siding with sportsbooks for the Super Bowl. The public money is on the Chiefs.
