Part of what has made Philadelphia an elite team this season has been the quality of their wide receivers with AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. The offense has been able to put up tremendous numbers with the help of their elite one-two punch on the outside. However, the offense has failed to click over the past few weeks as the team has lost three straight to likely playoff teams in the offseason. Philadelphia needs to figure out how to get the offense back on track and they need to figure it out fast.
Eagles Devonta Smith will Play in Week 16 against the Giants
One of the easiest ways to get back on track is to ensure that the team is healthy. Philadelphia will be one step closer this week as starting wide receiver Devonta Smith is reportedly going to play against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football this week.

Philadelphia has landed in a major losing streak as they lost two huge games in a big way to conference rival San Francisco and division rival Dallas. They lost this past week to the Seattle Seahawks and backup quarterback Drew Lock in arguably the lowest point of the season for Philadelphia.
This is huge news for Philadelphia who has struggled in the passing game during their losing streak. Smith provides the offense with a major boost in explosiveness as AJ Brown is certainly more of a size-dominant receiver. Philadelphia will close the season out against three of the weakest teams in the league as they play the New York Giants twice and then the diminished Arizona Cardinals.
