Deion Sanders is on a hot streak right now in the transfer portal for the Colorado Buffaloes. After receiving heavy amounts of criticism as the initial wave of players entered the portal, Sanders has done nothing but land player after player. After landing a top wide receiver yesterday, former Kentucky twins Destin Wade and Keaton Wade have announced they have committed to Colorado.

Deion Sanders, Colorado Buffaloes Land Destin Wade & Keaton Wade
Both are former four-star recruits from the state of Tennessee. Destin was the backup quarterback for the Wildcats and played in the Music City Bowl last season. He and his parents were furious when he did not receive more playing time accusing the Kentucky coaching staff of not keeping their promises. He isn’t likely to start in 2024 with Shedeur Sanders on the roster but could be in line when Sanders goes pro. Keaton was a rotational player on the defense and tallied 35 tackles, three for loss, and a sack.
Another Win For Sanders And Colorado
It has been quite the run in the last week and a half. Colorado has seen players flood into the transfer portal. The momentum of the program seems to be going strong. As one or two players commit, people take notice. Players often want to come to the place where others are flocking to. The challenge now is going to be putting all of this talent to good use. It is great to have the talent but most talent doesn’t win championships.
Can Colorado conquer the Big 12 next year? As the players continue to flock to Boulder it becomes increasingly more likely.
