Deion Sanders is making sure the college football world knows that the Colorado Buffaloes are going to be a problem in the transfer portal recruiting trail. Deion Sanders, Colorado Buffaloes Land DL Chidozie Nwankwo
Nwankwo brings size and experience to the Buffaloes. He is a massive defensive lineman who has been an anchor for the Cougars defense for the past three years. In his career, he has had 95 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and five sacks. The defense needed a run-stopper in the middle and Nwankwo is the perfect fit. After the offense has gotten a lot of players, it is great to see Sanders land some defense as well.
Is The Big 12 Conference Championship In Play?
The Buffaloes have made it no secret that they expect to be in the playoff conversation next year. The journey starts with being in play for the Big 12 conference. With Texas and Oklahoma leaving, the top of the conference is wide open. If Colorado can improve on this season, they could surprise some people next year. At this point, the question of whether Sanders can get talent to come to Colorado is answered. Now the question is whether he can coach the talent to win on the field.
Can Sanders keep the momentum going? He is showing no signs of stopping and this week is a big one for college football.
