Dante Moore decides his College choice at 12:00 PM on July 8th
The highly touted 5-star QB Dante Moore will be making his college decision on ESPN tomorrow July 8th at 12:00 Pm. On 247 sports Moore is rated as the #1 player in the state of Michigan and 12th overall in the nation for the 2023 class.
The crystal balls are leaning towards Oregon and this would be a tough loss for the Michigan Wolverines. Coach Jim Harbaugh offered him a scholarship before he even entered High School and is trained by former Michigan QB Devin Gardner. Moore’s final 5 list has Oregon, Michigan, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, and LSU. A lot of things have been reported on the NIL process. Some schools are offering money right away. The Michigan Wolverines are not giving money upfront, but players are making money while playing at Michigan. What is the difference? That is something that will be looked at through the recruiting process. Michigan’s 2023 recruiting class has fallen behind the other schools, but it is still really early in the process. On the field, Michigan looks to be towards the top of the Big Ten, for another season.
Initially, the QB room would be a battle for Dante Moore at Michigan. JJ McCarthy is heading into his sophomore season, so he would still have 2 more years of eligibility. Would Dante Moore be alright with taking a redshirt year? Is he looking to start right away? Answers will come soon enough as we await his decision.
