The Colorado football program has yet to participate in its spring game, and on Monday, a trio of Buffaloes made their intentions clear that they were leaving Boulder. Defensive lineman Chazz Wallace started the domino effect, with 247Sports and other college football sites reporting his plans to enter the transfer portal. It doesn’t end there, with another defensive playmaker entering the portal shortly after.
According to Hayes Fawcett of On3Sports, true freshman defensive back Jaden Milliner-Jones will join Wallace in finding a new program. On the offensive side, lineman Savion Washington entered the portal on Monday. Washington started ten games at offensive tackle in 2023.

Milliner-Jones joined head coach Deion Sanders during his inaugural season with the Buffaloes. The safety played in ten games for the former Pac-12 squad, tallying 25 tackles and three passes defended. He recorded a career-best eight tackles in a late-season loss against the Washington State Cougars and followed that up with a four-tackle performance against the Utah Utes.

Meanwhile, Sanders, the son of head coach Deion Sanders, had 70 tackles, an interception, and a touchdown.
Transfer safety Herman Smith III and sophomore Carter Stoutmire are the two-deep among the safety group. Before transferring to Colorado, Smith III played at Jackson State, coach Prime’s old school. Stoutmire played nine games with the Buffaloes in 2023, collecting 11 tackles and one TFL.
