The college football season is just around the corner!! And so, it is time to look at the preseason top-10 ranking for the 2022 college football season.
Top-10
- Alabama Crimson Tide: Even coming off a national championship loss, Alabama should still have a very good 2022 season. With Bryce Young and Nick Saban anything is possible.
- Ohio State Buckeyes: Their one loss last year came to archrival Michigan. It is hard to see Ohio State missing the College Football Playoff 2 straight years.
- Georgia Bulldogs: The defending national champions lost a lot of key pieces in this year’s draft especially on defense. They should still be able to dominate and possibly win a 2nd straight national championship.
- Texas A&M: Injuries really hurt their team last year, but they still pulled off a thriller win in October against Alabama. If the full team stays healthy along with Jimbo Fisher’s elite recruiting, they should be looking forward to a great 2022 season.
- Notre Dame: Notre Dame had a great year last year. The thing that could derail them is their strength of schedule. They play Clemson, Ohio State, BYU, and USC next year.
- Utah: It stung for Utah to lose the Rose Bowl the way that they did. Last year really showed that Utah has the ability to compete on a big stage.
- Clemson: It really says a lot for Clemson to have a 10-3 record last year and have it be considered a down year.
- Oklahoma State: The cowboys were overlooked for much of last season, but Spencer Sanders is back to lead the offense.
- Michigan: They finally got over the Ohio State hurdle last year, but a disappointing College Football Playoff semifinal showed that they still have work to improve on.
- Wake Forest: Wake Forest continues to thrive as they go from unranked to 8-0 and playing in the ACC championship game. With QB Sam Hartman back, Wake Forest should be able to score a lot of points.
