The Cleveland Browns are just days away from their home opener against the Dallas Cowboys, and the team is looking to take another giant step in the right direction.
Last season, the Browns lost their starting quarterback, Deshaun Watson, for most of the year and running back, Nick Chubb, but that didn’t stop them from making the playoffs.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski won NFL Coach of the Year for the second time in four seasons, and Myles Garrett won his first-ever Defensive Player of the Year Award.
While individual awards were great last season, Cleveland is looking for team goals and winning the Super Bowl, and an ESPN radio host thinks the Browns have the best chance of knocking off the Kansas City Chiefs.
Evan Cohen Likes The Cleveland Browns Chances
During ESPN’s morning radio show, UNSPORTSMANLIKE, host Evan Cohen stated that to beat the Chiefs, you have to beat them up, and the Browns have one of the best defenses in the NFL and can keep Mahomes off the field.
Cohen stated he didn’t like what he saw from the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night, the Cincinnati Bengals have question marks with wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase and the health of quarterback Joe Burrow, and the Pittsburgh Steelers have their starting quarterback hurt already, and Cohen thinks this could be the Browns year.

Cohen has high praise for the Browns, but the team won’t be able to compete until quarterback Deshaun Watson shows that he can be elite again.
The season will fall on Watson’s hands, and right now, nobody should believe that Watson can play like he did with the Houston Texans back in 2020.
The 28-year-old quarterback hasn’t been able to stay on the field for three straight seasons, and when he did get on the field, he didn’t look impressive at all.
The Browns have a great defense, but it can only take the team so far, and Watson has to be the one to step up and put the team on his back against players like Patrick Mahomes.
It will be interesting to see how the Browns do this season. Hopefully, they will win the AFC North for the first time in franchise history.
