It isn’t everyday that LeBron James praises anyone on social media. So when he did just that for Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett, the King’s message must truly mean something good.

Just recently, Garrett was named the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year for the previous season. This makes him the first player in franchise history to win the said award.

Also recognized as a First-Team All-Pro last year, the Browns star finished the previous campaign with 14.0 sacks. This feat makes it the third consecutive season Garrett has achieved more than 14 sacks and the sixth in which he got 10 or more.

Garrett also finished last season with 42 tackles, four forced fumbles, 30 quarterback hits, and three passes defended in 16 games. The Browns’ defensive end also posted 57 hurries, 86 pressures, and a pressure rate of 18.6 percent.

Thanks to Garrett’s inclusion in the roster, the Cleveland Browns led the league in yards per possession, allowed yards per game, plays per possession, and first-downs allowed per game, among others. And because of the team’s dominance on that end of the field, the NFL bestowed on Garrett the honor of being the best defensive player last season.

Garrett’s performance during the last season, along with his big win as the league’s Defensive Player of the Year, hasn’t gone unnoticed. In a series of photos and a video James posted on Instagram, the Los Angeles Lakers star can be seen working out with Garrett.

As seen in the Instagram post from James, both he and Garrett are looking buffed up to the core. The NBA star also claimed to have given Garrett the full blueprint, which could have been alluded to James’ fitness regimen.

With the NFL out and the NBA in full swing, it’s rare to see two athletes of James and Garrett’s caliber working out together. All eyes will be on the latter, though, to see if his time with the King will yield positive results for the Browns.
