Clemson is accustomed to having star skill position talent. In recent years, the Tigers have put players like QB Trevor Lawrence, QB Deshaun Watson, RB Travis Etienne, WR Tee Higgins, WR Mike Williams, etc into the NFL. As of late, they have struggled with developing top end WRs.
In devy circles, they have had a few WRs that have recently had disappoiting times while at Clemson. Many have attributed the decline in production to QB play and the exits of coordinators, leaving HC Dabo Swinney to make adjustments.

Wide Receiver Beaux Collins has decided to test the transfer portal and look elsewhere. The former 4 star recruit out of St John Bosco in California said on social media, “After deep thought and consideration, I have plans to enter the transfer portal. To my friends and teammates, I am forever grateful for all the relationships that we’ve built over the years and all the memories we share together,” Collins said. “To my coaches, amazing athletic training staff, and all of Clemson University, I can’t thank you enough for all the love you’ve given me over my time here in Clemson.”
In 2023, the wide receiver recorded 38 receptions for 510 yards and 3 touchdowns. Over 3 seasons, Collins caught 91 balls for 1290 yards and 11 scores. He will be immediately eligible for his last season.
