5th-Year Option Tracker for the 2021 NFL Draft

NFL teams had until May 2 to exercise or decline the 5th-year options of the 1st-round picks from the 2021 NFL Draft. If a team trades for a player, the team acquiring that player is responsible for deciding on their 5th-year option.

How are the 5th-year options calculated?

The 5th-year options are determined based on four tiers. They include basic, playtime, multiple Pro Bowls, and one Pro Bowl. The 33rd Team goes into further detail.

18 first-rounders had theirs exercised, while 12 had theirs declined, and two were ineligible.
