The Miami Dolphins sent another offensive weapon to the injured reserve a week after losing David Achane for four games. Achane will be eligible to return for the Dolphins in Week 11, but one player they were counting on to step up for Achane is headed to the injured reserve Friday.
The Dolphins lost two wide receivers to the injured last month. The offense is one of the best in the league, but injuries are piling up.

According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Dolphins placed running back Chris Brooks on injured reserve Friday. He will join Achane as a running back unable to play for the Dolphins in the coming weeks.

Brooks has 15 carries for 94 yards this season (that’s 6.3 yards per rush). The rookie UDFA out of BYU saw an expanded role for the Dolphins in Week 6 after Achane was placed on injured reserve.
Fortunately for the Dolphins, they still have premier talent in the backfield. Raheem Mostert earned AFC Player of the Week honors for his 115 rushing yards, two touchdown rushes, and one touchdown catch performance against the Carolina Panthers in Week 6.
