BREAKING: CBS Reveals NFL Announcers for Weeks 1-3 of 2024 Season

The 2024 NFL season is upon us. We are getting one step closer to regular season action with the start of training camp. As a result, television networks like CBS are getting ready to assign play-by-play announcers and commentators to specific games.

Earlier this morning, CBS revealed who the announcers would be for each of their games in the first three weeks of the NFL season. Read below to find out where the most notable announcers are going.

Jim Nantz and Tony Romo are the top NFL announcing team for CBS. So, it is safe to say they will get assigned a notable game on the schedule each week of the season. Which games are they getting the call for in the first three weeks?

Since FOX has the national 4:25 p.m. EST game in Week 1, Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will be assigned a notable regional game. It will be Jim Harbaugh’s head coach debut with the Los Angeles Chargers, as they host the Las Vegas Raiders at 4:05 p.m. EST that week.

In Week 2, Nantz and Romo will arguably get the game of the week. That is because it is a 4:25 p.m. EST game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs. Then, Nantz and Romo will get to call Harbaugh and the Chargers again in Week 3. They go on the road to face the Pittsburgh Steelers that week at 1:05 p.m. EST.

CBS has a total of 18 games that they get to cover in the first three weeks of the season. They have six games in Week 1, seven games in Week 2, and five games in Week 3. Five of the announcer crews will have a game every week, with extra announcer crews being added in the other weeks as needed.

Chris Lewis and Jason McCourty only appear once in the first three weeks of the schedule. Tom McCarthy and Jay Feely appear to be the #6 crew for CBS, as they are absent from the Week 3 schedule.
