This Sunday the Carolina Panthers travel to MetLife stadium in New York to take on the Giants. This sets up to be a great battle between these two squads. Carolina is coming off a tough loss against Baker Mayfield’s former team the Cleveland Browns. Baker and the Panthers didn’t look their best but still managed to score 24 points on a decent browns defense. Carolina was stunned by a 58-yard field goal by rookie Cade York. Expect the Panthers to be fired up this weekend. The Giants on the other hand are off a huge road upset of the Tennessee Titans. New York was shut out in the first half before dominating the 2nd half outscoring the Titans 21-7. Saquon Barkley dominated rushing the ball for 164 yards on just 18 carries. I expect the Panthers to be prepared for Saquon this Sunday.
The Giants are off quite the emotional high from their stunning come from behind upset over the Titans. This sets up as a spot I expect them to fall flat on their feet. Baker did not look his best against the Browns, but the Browns had the advantage of coaching Baker over the past few years. Star Panthers wideout D.J Moore was held in check by the Browns in week one. Expect D.J to have a big game against an average Giants secondary.
Panthers Vs Giants Betting Pick
New York has not started the season 2 and 0 in six years. With New York off a huge win they get a home game against the Panthers but are currently only a 2.5-point favorite. The Bookmakers didn’t get this line wrong at all. The Panthers have the more explosive offense, and we will see that this Sunday at MetLife stadium. This Giants team has grit and toughness, but they are not a very good football team. Carolina should win this game outright even on the road. Currently, I do not buy the Giants Hype. Saquon will only get them so far. Give me the Panthers +2.5, They likely win this outright.
