Another season, another heartbreaking exit from the NFL playoffs for the Buffalo Bills. That means trade rumors are starting to creep up involving some of the Bills’ assets, and that includes no other than star wide receiver Stefon Diggs,
If the Bills are looking to build for the future, Diggs can be viewed as a trade bait Buffalo can dangle in order to acquire key building block essentials like younger skill players or draft picks. When Diggs decided not to speak with the media after the Bills’ painful loss in the AFC divisional round against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, many speculated whether it was a sign that he’d soon request a trade somewhere else.
However, according to Tony Pauline, Diggs is not expected to ask for a way out of Buffalo via a trade.

That being said, it’s never say never when it comes to Diggs asking the Buffalo Bills to trade him, as pointed out by Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report.
If Diggs starts grumbling again, the Bills may decide that diminishing returns from an unhappy player on the wrong side of 30 with a fat salary may not be worth the grief. That could cause them to figure out a way to make that dead cap hit work.
Will Buffalo Bills WR Stefon Diggs Change His Stance?
Diggs isn’t getting any younger and he’s already played four seasons with Buffalo without the team achieving the desired result in the playoffs, which is, of course, winning the Super Bowl. The offseason is long and there’s no telling for sure if Diggs would sing the same tune for the rest of the break until the 2024 campaign.
In four years with the Bills, the 30-year-old Diggs has recorded 5,372 receiving yards with 37 touchdowns on 445 receptions across 66 games.
