The Bills let go of Jordan Poyer and Tre’Davious White ahead of next season, which gives Lewis an opportunity to step up in the secondary and take more snaps alongside Rasul Douglas. Who they traded for last season from the Green Bay Packers.
Lewis has also taken snaps at safety and both sides are currently out of a job with Poyer released and Micah Hyde contemplating retirement. There will be a large opportunity for Lewis to become a vital piece in Buffalo’s secondary moving forward.
